Selver Kübra Akkaya

Gynecologist

Dr. Selver Kübra Akkaya was born in Istanbul and completed her primary and secondary educations in different cities. She was graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 2005 and from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2012.

She completed her residency at Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital and became a gynecology and obstetrics specialist in 2017.

Since the first years of her specialization training; genital aesthetics, female sexual health, pelvic floor diseases, genital area laser applications, urinary incontinence surgeries and laser treatments became her main areas of interest. She received many trainings on these fields.

She completed the sexual therapy training of Sexual Health Institute Association in 2017.

She received training on genital filler applications of functional and aesthetic genital procedures in 2020.

In 2021, she worked as a "clinical fellow" for 3 months on urogynecology and genital aesthetics at “Helios Mariahilf Clinic” in Hamburg, Germany. After returning to Turkey, she had worked as a trainer at the Women's Pelvic Health Academy in Ankara Bilkent City Hospital with the experience she gained.

She also completed the training given by the International “Psychotherapy and Coaching Institute” in 2021 and received a Hypnotherapy practice certificate.

She successfully completed the fellowship program in the field of cosmetic and functional gynecology organized by ISAGSS in March 2023.

Dr. Selver Kübra Akkaya is an active member of HERA Vaginismus Treatment Association and a scientific committee member of ISAGSS (International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology). Now, she is accepting her patients of aesthetic gynecology and sexual dysfunctions in her private office, Hera Clinic Ankara, Turkey.

She is married and mother of a daughter.
