Aida Kumnova

Gynecologist

Dr. Aida Kumnova a gynecologist/obstetrician born in Gjakova, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Prishtina, specialized in Prishtina and trained at the Gynecological Clinic in Skopje.

After the specialization, started a training on Intrusive Hysteroscopy held in Modena-Italy, by Prof. Dr.Massimo Luerti, Laparoscopy training at the Gasthuisberg University Clinic in Leuven-Belgium, led by Prof. Dr. Ignace Vergote.

She completed her next training at Colposcopy in Ascoli Piceno-Italy, led by Prof.Dr.Mario Peroni.

In the last years of her specialization, she was focused in the field of Reproductive Health at the University Hospitals Leuven-Belgium led by Prof.Dr.Thomas Hodge,then more intensively in “American Hastatnesi” in Istanbul-Turkey led by Prof.Dr. Bulen Urman.

The new faze on the professional journey of Dr. Aida began in 2007, right after specialization with the opening of Obstetrics and Gynecology Ordinance “Arba”, in Gjakova.She worked in this ordinance for 10 years, and during this time was also working in Regional Hospital “Isa Grezda” in Gjakova.

Since 2007 she is a member of ESHRE and member of the “Association of Gynecologists/Obstetricians of Kosovo”.

In 2017 Dr. Aida Kumnova founded the Special Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology “European Clinic”, then in 2018 “European Clinic” was licensed in the field of Infertility and Endocrinology-FAM, while in 2019 the Hospital “European Clinic” continues with successful work and was licensed with Department of Surgery.

Today Dr. Aida is the only female leader in the field of private hospitals leading the Special Hospital for Gynecology with Obstetrics, Infertility Endocrinology-FAM and Surgery “European Clinic” in Gjakova.
